Note:
- Upon selection, the roles and responsibilities of academic staff will not be limited to the position profile of individual positions, but also be guided by Representative Work Activities (RWAs) for each position (click here for RWA).
- For in-service candidates, assignment of position level shall be based on prevailing rules for lateral entry (click here for lateral entry criteria).
- Those with relevant qualifications of Masters degree or PhD, as against the minimum qualification requirement of Bachelors degree, shall be assigned with higher position title & level and shall be required to shoulder higher responsibilities.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate must:
- Be a Bhutanese citizen
- Have attained at least 18 years of age, and not more than 50 years of age
- Benchmark criteria: Have minimum aggregate of 50% each in Bachelors degree and Masters degree
- Must fulfill lateral entry criteria (Click Here) to apply for Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor’s position
- Meet experience and other requirements as specified in the position profile of the position.
Preference shall be given to those with relevant work experiences for the purpose of shortlisting.
